We had water damage in different parts of our house. Alex was very thorough with his inspection and we had the air sampling results very quickly. He gave his suggestion and what needed to be prioritized first which was our bedroom and especially our master bathroom which had extensive water damage and was show to have Aspergillus growth. It took him a week to remediate the mold for our bathroom and bedroom. Now we our ready to remodel our bathroom. Dennis did a great job in the drywall repair in our bedroom. I found his price to be reasonable for all the amount of work that was done. Alex wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the work and he is willing to go above and beyond for our satisfaction. I would use Omega Environmental again and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for mold remediation done right.

Mold Inspection FAQ
Common questions about mold inspection in Jacksonville, FL.
Yes. Mold commonly grows inside walls, in crawlspaces, and within HVAC systems where it is not visible. Jacksonville's high humidity means hidden growth is a real possibility even in homes with no obvious water damage.
The inspection includes a full visual assessment, moisture readings throughout the structure, and air or surface sampling where conditions warrant it. All samples are sent to an accredited laboratory, and you receive a written report with clear findings.
A mold inspection is not legally required for every real estate transaction, but it provides documented evidence of a property's condition. Many buyers and sellers in St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra request one to avoid disputes after closing.
Musty odors, visible staining, recent water intrusion, or unexplained respiratory irritation are common reasons to schedule an inspection. Jacksonville's climate means even minor roof or plumbing leaks can create conditions for mold growth quickly.
