We had water damage in different parts of our house. Alex was very thorough with his inspection and we had the air sampling results very quickly. He gave his suggestion and what needed to be prioritized first which was our bedroom and especially our master bathroom which had extensive water damage and was show to have Aspergillus growth. It took him a week to remediate the mold for our bathroom and bedroom. Now we our ready to remodel our bathroom. Dennis did a great job in the drywall repair in our bedroom. I found his price to be reasonable for all the amount of work that was done. Alex wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the work and he is willing to go above and beyond for our satisfaction. I would use Omega Environmental again and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for mold remediation done right.

Expert Water Damage Restoration in Jacksonville, FL
Water damage restoration in Jacksonville means more than removing standing water. North Florida's humid subtropical climate traps moisture inside walls, flooring, and insulation long after visible water is gone. Left unaddressed, that hidden moisture weakens building materials and creates conditions where mold can take hold. Omega Environmental LLC handles the full restoration scope: damage assessment, moisture mapping, controlled removal of affected materials, and coordinated drying to bring your property back to a stable, dry condition. Owner Alex Kearson brings more than 25 years in the restoration and construction industries. He holds Florida licenses as both a Mold Assessor and Mold Remediator, along with multiple industry certifications in water damage restoration and structural drying. That background matters when a Jacksonville property has water damage, because the line between a water loss and a mold problem is often a matter of how thoroughly the job is done. We serve property owners across Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and Ponte Vedra. Call Omega Environmental to get an honest assessment and a clear plan.

Water Damage Restoration FAQ
Common questions about water damage restoration in Jacksonville, FL.
Water damage restoration covers the full process from initial damage assessment and moisture mapping through material removal and drying. In Jacksonville's humid climate, that process must account for moisture trapped inside walls and subfloors, not just what is visible on the surface.
Yes, moisture can remain hidden inside walls, flooring, and insulation in St. Augustine homes long after the surface appears dry. Professional moisture mapping identifies those hidden pockets before mold has a chance to develop.
Yes, owner Alex Kearson holds Florida licenses as both a Mold Assessor and Mold Remediator, so water damage and mold risk are assessed together. That means Jacksonville property owners work with one qualified professional across both issues rather than coordinating multiple contractors.
Burst or leaking pipes, appliance failures, roof leaks from storms, and HVAC condensate overflows are among the most common sources of water damage in the Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra area. Tropical storms and heavy seasonal rainfall add to the risk for properties throughout Northeast Florida.
A professional moisture assessment is the only reliable way to know how far water has traveled inside your Jacksonville property's structure. Consumer fans do not reach moisture trapped behind drywall, under flooring, or inside insulation, which is where long-term damage and mold growth typically begin.
Yes, thorough documentation of damage and moisture readings is part of every water damage restoration project we handle in Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and Ponte Vedra. That documentation supports the information your insurance adjuster will need to evaluate your claim.
